How Does Your Garden Grow?

For several weeks, we've been "parents" to lima bean plants growing in our classroom.  They've grown better than our own "tickle plants" that we planted before the limas came to visit!  This week, we got to transplant our limas into our school garden, with the help of the 4H Extension, along with tomatoes and peppers.  It was an exciting time!  Second grade will be providing the school with vegetables that the cafeteria will be able to use in food they prepare for lunch!
