Goonish Adjectives!

This week, we read the book "Goodnight Goon," which is a parody of the "Goodnight Moon."  We used adjectives to describe and design our own goon. Check out the pictures below. :)

As part of our reward for earning our 5 points for 5 days of winning our Scoreboard game, students completed a Fall Scavenger Hunt outside, then we met together inside and discussed what observed with our five senses (and added some adjectives in as well!).

We are continuing to work on our math unit and learning about our Famous Americans in History.  Students have really enjoyed learning about the different Americans!  We've been using our class wiki pages to view photos and watch short video clips about these Americans.  You can check them out {here} or use the link to the side for our class wiki pages for History and Science!

Next Monday is Veteran's Day. We'll be honoring our veterans by discussing and completing a craftivity!  Be sure to tune in for pictures next week! ;)
